DCAA just released their “2012 Year in Review” and the number of audits per auditor dropped from 1.775 a year per auditor in 2011 to 1.491 a year per auditor in 2012.
Of course, DCAA actually paints it as an improvement as there is a 20% increase in questioned costs.
Of course most of the questioned costs are in forward pricing which are not solid until the costs are actually audited.
The Song is the same but the beat seems to have slowed down.
